Service level agreement
Service level agreement
For exam tiers and Enterprise agreements, we target 99.5% uptime each calendar month, measured by our public status page. If a month falls below 99.5% you can ask for a service credit of 10% of that month's fee, and 25% if it falls below 99.0%. Credits are the only remedy.
By the OnlineCompiler.io team. Updated .
The agreement is between the customer and RunCode Inc. (USA), which operates OnlineCompiler.io.
What it covers
This SLA applies to exam tiers and Enterprise agreements. It does not apply to the Free plan or to monthly plans. It covers OnlineCompiler.io's uptime target for the code execution API and the services that serve it, as reported by the status page.
How uptime is measured
Uptime is the share of a calendar month in which the public status page at status.onlinecompiler.io shows the service up. That page checks the API's health endpoint
(https://api.onlinecompiler.io/api/health/) every few minutes and keeps the history. The status page record
is the measurement both sides use.
Monthly uptime target
| Monthly uptime | Service credit |
|---|---|
| 99.5% or more | None |
| Below 99.5%, at or above 99.0% | 10% of that month's fee |
| Below 99.0% | 25% of that month's fee |
For a yearly fee, "that month's fee" is one twelfth of the yearly fee.
Claiming a credit
Credits are given on request. Write to us through the contact page within 30 days of the end of the month, naming the month. We confirm against the status page record and give the credit on your account or as a refund, at our choice.
Credits are the only remedy
A service credit is the only remedy for missing the uptime target. The Terms of Service otherwise apply.
What does not count against the target
- Maintenance announced on the status page at least 48 hours ahead.
- Problems caused by the customer's code or the way the service is used.
- Abuse of the service.
- Outages of third parties outside our control: the customer's own networks, DNS providers and the payment provider.
- Force majeure.
Support
This SLA makes no promise about response times. During a booked exam, write to exams@onlinecompiler.io at any hour; we watch it throughout your exam. See CodeRunner exams.
